Funding Priorities & Goals

The Tyler Vincent Knowles Foundation priorites include

Mental Health

Life strategies, online safety, injury prevention, resiliency in schools, community, and peer relationships are foundational to a young person’s ability to respond rather than react to external influences without losing personal autonomy.

Substance Use Disorder

Safety First Curriculum focused on Prevention and Harm Reduction, Community-Based initiatives to create supportive environments to reduce the availability and appeal of drugs.

Youth Athletics

Organized youth athletics to provide a safe space for fitness, friendship, and life-long enjoyment of sports as participants or spectators.

Young people are not a monolithic group; one size does not fit all. The Foundation recognizes this, and our goal is to distribute $50,000 to nonprofits working in one or all of these areas by 2030. By providing funding in perpetuity to these categories of support, our distributions will be amplified, achieving a recognizable impact in our communities.
